SINGLE SISTERS LUNCH - The PMC Single Sisters will hold a potluck lunch on Sunday, January 28 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM in the Expanse.  Please RSVP to Judy Yocom by January 21. 

 

PMC MOVIE MATINEE - On Sunday, January 21, we will show the film “Mully” at 4:30 PM.   “Mully” depicts the extraordinary rags-to-riches story of Charles Mully, whose rise from orphaned poverty to a lucrative business man leads him on an unimaginable journey of selflessness and self-sacrifice to change Kenya - and the world - one child at a time.

 

OLO SUNDAY - On Sunday, January 21, PMC will hold our annual One Less Orphan meal. Plan to stay after the worship service for a taco bar. All of the proceeds will go to support ministries who care for orphans.  Faith Families and Sunday School will not meet.

  

LADIES BIBLE STUDY - Monday evenings, January 15 - February 26 at 7:00 PM in the Expanse.  The study will be  “The Quest” by Beth Moore.  Beth uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best.   All women are welcome, so feel free to invite your friends! GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNER? - Sign up in the foyer to be part of  the Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? meal on February 11.  You can sign up to be a guest or to host one or more families for dinner.  Hosts - the meal can be as formal or casual as you wish.  Once you are signed up, you will be paired up for an evening of fun and fellowship!  The point is to have a fun evening and build relationships with people you may not normally spend time with.  Sign up by January 28 and you will receive a list of your guests or your dinner destination by February 4.  Questions?  Call the church office.

  

PUERTO RICO - IT’S TIME FOR ACTION - Missionary Church World Partners Office is ready to form teams to assist churches in Puerto Rico that were heavily damaged from Hurricane Maria.  World Partners would like an 8-9 day commitment from each team member.  Cost to go is $1,000 (includes airfare, lodging, food, transportation in Puerto Rico, and a community event with a local community).  Fliers with more information are the table in the foyer.

 

GRIEFSHARE - GriefShare is a video seminar and support group for anyone  who has lost a friend or relative through death. It will be offered Wednesday evenings, beginning January 10 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at The Gathering Place in Wyse Commons at Fairlawn.  Questions?  See Gary Friesen.
