Our Core Values

We value Authentic Worship, because God is holy and He alone deserves our praise, gratitude, adoration, surrender and commitment.

(Revelation 5)

We value Sound Doctrine, because relativism is so persuasive in today's culture.

(2 Timothy: 2-4)

We value Loving Relationships, because it keeps members connected and committed.

(1 Corinthians 13)

We value Persistent Prayer, because the church is in a fierce spiritual battle.

(Ephesians 6:12-18)

We value Compassionate Outreach, because the gospel is the most important message in the world.

(Matthew 28:19-20)

Our Beliefs

The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God which is the unchanging authority in matters of faith and practice.  It is true and reliable in all matters it addresses.

-  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -

There is but one God who is all-powerful, all-knowing and everywhere present.  He is the creator and sustainer of all people and things, visible and invisible and is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

-  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -

Jesus is God's incarnate Son who lived a sinless life during his time on earth before he died on a cross to make atonement for the sins of the human family.  He was then resurrected bodily and ascended to the right hand of God.  He is the only Savior and will soon return to take all true believers to live in heaven with Him.

-  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and is the one who convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment.  It is He who indwells and teaches all believers and wants to sanctify and empower us for service.

-  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -

Since all men and women are born in sin, this makes them guilty before God and unable to save themselves and they are headed for eternity in hell.  However, God in his infinite love provided His only Son, Jesus, to become our Savior.  Salvation is the process where we genuinely repent of our sins and accept by faith God's promise of forgiveness.

The church is a visible organism that is part of the universal body of believers.  As a local body we voluntarily join together for the public worship of God, the teaching from his Word, observance of Holy Communion and Baptism, the fellowship of the saints and the exercise of prayer and evangelism.
