Stephanie Slye

Stephanie joined the PMC staff the beginning of 2023 as Children’s Ministry Assistant Director. She has been a familiar face in the preschool end since they began attending PMC in 2020. She oversees Sunday morning nursey through Preschool and Wednesday night Preschool and Kindergarten. She also works closely with Brianne, our Children’s Ministry Director, with other Children’s events throughout the year.

Stephanie grew up in Pettisville, then graduated Bluffton University in 2009 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Preschool Special Needs. She and her husband; Timothy Slye, from Springfield OH, married in 2009 and resided in Springfield until 2016. Here, Stephanie taught for 4 years until they had their first child. After teaching for a year Stephanie realized being at home was where her heart was. Since moving back to her hometown Tim and Stephanie have added 2 more children to their family and another on the way in June 2023.

Stephanie enjoys walking, working out, (both with children in tow), taking her children to parks, reading to her children, and when she has a free moment you can find her curled up with a coffee and a good book. When Stephanie was asked to join the PMC staff she was thrilled! “Teaching children about Jesus brings me no greater joy.”
